After passing through final assembly, BUGERA amps are tested by trained tone experts. Yes, our technicians actually plug a guitar into every amp. The process looks and sounds more like a rocked-up riff-off than quality control, but it's our way of making sure BUGERA amps can dependably deliver the rich valve tone for which they are created.

What dUg and so many other musicians are hearing in BUGERA is a sound that only comes from hand-made, all-valve amplification.
It's a well-known fact that if you want to build something right, your best bet is to build it yourself. That's why BUGERA amps, cabinets and custom-made BUGERA speakers are made right in our factory. No component of these amps is sourced by a second-party supplier except for the valves, and that's because valves are only made by a few companies these days. However, the valves we put in our amps are all painstakingly graded in-house. More on that in the BUGERA Valves section...
Not only do they sound great, but they are also built to maintain their great sound and good looks through all the wear and tear that comes along in the life of a working musician. BUGERA cabinets are made of the same high-quality wood found in professional sound reinforcement speakers. The cabinets are bonded and fastened by industrial-quality bonding agents, then given chrome steel corner protectors, steel handles and rubber vibration-resistant feet over tough PVC fabric.
