These terms apply when you use www.bugera-amps.com (the "site"), the Bugera website. Please read them. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

The site is operated by Empower Tribe Commercial HK Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (company no. 77647198) ("we", "us").

Bugera products are distributed by Empower Tribe Commercial FZE (Dubai, UAE), and the Bugera trademarks belong to Empower Tribe IP Holdings Ltd. (Abu Dhabi, UAE).

When online purchases are offered, separate terms of sale apply and name the seller.

How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

2. Using the site

You may use the site to find information about Bugera products, for personal or business purposes. You must not:

  • break the law, or help anyone else do so, through the site;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems or other users' data;
  • interfere with how the site works, for example through malware, denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated requests;
  • scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of the site for commercial use without our written permission;
  • pretend to be someone else, or give false information.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

3. Accounts

Where the site offers an account (for example for product registration or newsletters), you are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity under your account. Tell us through www.bugera-amps.com/support if you think your account has been misused. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

4. Intellectual property and trademarks

The site and its content (text, images, video, software and design) belong to us, to companies in our group, or to our licensors. Bugera and the related names and logos are trademarks of Empower Tribe IP Holdings Ltd. Other names and marks belong to their owners.

You may view, download and print site content for your own non-commercial use, or to sell or support genuine Bugera products, as long as you keep any copyright and trademark notices. Any other use needs our written permission. Nothing on the site gives you a licence to use our trademarks.

5. Downloads, software and firmware

Manuals, software, firmware and other downloads are provided so you can use and support Bugera products.

  • Unless a download comes with its own licence, you may install and use it only with genuine Bugera products you own or are authorised to use.
  • You must not resell, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer or decompile software or firmware, except where the law allows you to do so despite this restriction.
  • If a download comes with its own licence (for example an end-user licence agreement or an open-source licence), that licence applies to it and takes priority over this section.
  • Install firmware only on the product it is intended for and follow the instructions provided. Installing the wrong file, or interrupting an update, can stop a product from working.

6. Product information

We try to keep product information, specifications and images accurate and current. Products and specifications may change, and mistakes can happen. Product information on the site is not an offer to sell.

7. Links to other sites

The site may link to sites and services run by others, such as dealers, social networks or video platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. Their own terms and policies apply.

8. Availability and disclaimers

We provide the site "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful components. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits any rights you have by law that cannot be excluded or limited, including your rights as a consumer.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

  • losses that were not reasonably foreseeable;
  • loss of profit, business, revenue, data or goodwill arising from use of the site by a business user;
  • losses caused by your breach of these terms, or by events outside our reasonable control.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on the site, with its effective date, is the one that applies. If changes are significant, we will tell you on the site or, if you have an account, by email.

11. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Hong Kong courts have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. You keep your statutory consumer rights there and, where that law allows, may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
